Slightly better from a technical perspective but there is some fine roughness with traces of verdigris at the top of the bouquet plus faint traces of microscopic roughness elsewhere on both sides.. The planchet is mostly smooth but there are small planchet fissures from OR to the throat and faintly down the neck plus a deeper void over the L in LIB. Mostly glossy medium brown and light chocolate with splashes of reddish chocolate, mostly on the reverse. A difficult piece to grade because the dies are heavily worn, swollen, and shattered in many places. Struck very slightly off center to K-6 leaving the bottom of the date off the planchet, but it remains easily readable. The legends are complete, just a few letters tight to the edge of the planchet. The finest seen of this wonderful die state. Weight 147.2 grains.
