Choice glossy light brown. Smooth and virtually flawless with light wear on the devices. The only marks, and they are trivial, are a small rim nick under the 8 in the date and a scuff of faint hairlines at the shoulder to the rim below. Later die state with swelling in the fields on both sides. A very attractive example of this tough variety, superior to the Perkins and Ford examples. Weight 154.7 grains.
