Glossy medium brown and light chocolate mottled with darker reddish chocolate brown on the reverse. Mostly smooth but there is fine roughness at ORI and on the bottom and left edge of the reverse. No verdigris or notable contact marks. Struck over a NOVA CONSTELLATIO with a lot of undertype visible on both sides including “NOVAONNEC” at K-12 to K-4 on the obverse. The date on the Connecticut is quite faint but you can make out the 88 with some effort. Weight 114.2 grains.
