Rather glossy dark steel brown and olive. Smooth and essentially free of marks, just lightly worn on the devices. A very tiny planchet flake on the chest of Britannia may help identify this piece. Very late die state with significant die failures evident on both sides. The swelling at GEO and RIT is strong, there is a die crack arcing through GIVS, and a stronger die crack arcs through III REX distorting those elements. Additional swelling shows in the fields on the reverse. The date is strong and the remaining legends are clear. A neat die state. Weight 123.1 grains.
