The Starr-Reiver-Holmes 1856 N-20

Frosty light steel brown with very subtle hints of light bluish steel overtone. The surfaces are covered with satiny mint luster and the eye appeal is excellent. A small, barely visible splash of slightly darker toning on the rim under star 2, a splash of lighter reddish brown toning between star 12 and the dentils, and a tiny nick over the right top of the N in ONE are the best identifying marks, and all are trivial. LDS, die state d. The die crack on the rim at star 13 is clear and the tiny cud break at the upper end of this crack is obvious. A neat die state. Our grade is MS60+, tied for CC#4 in the Grellman census. Comes with a great provenance.
