The surfaces are uneven from a combination of corrosion near the rims and at least two sets of strong die clashmarks on both sides. There are a few vertical planchet fissures at the top of the obverse, another on the neck, and a chip out of the rim over the E in ET. Late die state. Struck in medal turn (head-to-head) slightly off center to the bottom leaving the lower half of the date off the planchet. Weight 125.0 grains.
