Sharpness VF35 but covered with fine to moderate roughness on all but the highpoints which are smooth. No verdigris or planchet defects, and the only notable mark is a thin diagonal scrape on the chin. A small, curved planchet clip at the bottom of the obverse may help identify this piece. Slightly glossy dark olive brown with lighter brown toning on the highpoints. Struck slightly off center to K-8. The bottom of the date and the tops of some letters are off the planchet but everything is easily readable. Late die state with heavy swelling in the field off the chin. Weight 119.1 grains.
