Sharpness VF30 but there are a couple dozen pits on the reverse and most of those contain greenish verdigris. The remainder of the planchet is covered with fine granularity. Slightly glossy chocolate brown. The date and legends are complete and clear. The obverse has sharp details (sharper than the Vlack plate coin) and nice eye appeal in spite of the imperfect surfaces; the reverse is far less attractive. One of the sharpest known of the variety. Weight 118.9 grains.
