An “ET LIR” variety. Glossy reddish brown and chocolate with darker olive brown toning in protected areas. No notable roughness or planchet flaws, only small nicks scattered over both sides. A very light rim bruise over the C in AUCTORI can help identify this piece. Earlier die state with only minor swelling on the obverse. The bottom of the 1 in the date is slightly off the planchet but the rest of the digits are strong and the legends are bold. Weight 152.4 grains.
