Glossy medium chocolate brown woodgrained with lighter brown toning. The surfaces are mostly smooth but there are some minor striations in the fields on the obverse. The only marks are from an errant planchet cutter impression just inside the rim from K-7 to K-9.5 on the obverse and the opposing area along the reverse rim from K-8 to K-12. The date is bold and the plow is strong. Weight 143.3 grains.
