Glossy medium brown with light chocolate toning in protected areas. Just a few small fissures on an otherwise smooth planchet. The only notable planchet flaws are a small chip at the waist of the seated figure and a small chip under the N in INDE. There are a few small rim bruises on both sides, the stronger ones at TO in AUCTORI and D in INDE. A minor planchet clip affects the dentils at the shoulder. Late die state with clashmarks on the obverse and swelling on the reverse. Struck slightly off center to K-5 leaving a few letters tight to the edge of the planchet but the date and legends are complete and clear. Weight 156.9 grains.
