An ET LIR variety. Glossy medium brown and light chocolate. Minor planchet chipping shows on the upper half of both sides, strongest at the eye of the portrait, but most of the planchet is smooth and this piece has excellent eye appeal. No contact marks. Struck slightly off center to K-2 leaving the bottom of the 1 in the date off the planchet but everything else is complete and strong. Struck with the reverse nearly upset in medal orientation. Weight 140.1 grains.
