Technical grade at least EF40 where properly struck but more than a third of the planchet was too thin to receive an impression from the dies. The unstruck portion of the planchet shows the usual pre-striking chipping and flaws while the properly struck portion is smooth with just a few flaws, the notable one being a void between the tops of the 7 & 8 in the date. There are a few small nicks and rim bruises. Glossy medium brown. Nicely centered with a strong date and legends where the dies actually made it to the planchet. The AUCIORI error is especially bold. Weight 142.0 grains.
