Slightly glossy medium brown with crusty dark olive in protected areas and portions of the fields. Minor roughness covers all but the highpoints. Myriad fine scratches show under magnification and there is a dig on the first N in CONNEC. The date is clear and the legends are complete and easily readable except for the usual weakness at AUC. The die crack from the rim through the L in LIB to the waist of the seated figure is strong. The attribution “47 Z” is written in white ink in the field before the jaw. Weight 141.6 grains. .
