Sharpness at least EF40 but covered with uniform fine granularity under rather glossy dark olive brown and steel toning. There are traces of shallow verdigris in some of the protected areas, but you need a glass to find them. The only marks are a few light hairline scratches on the left side of the obverse, all blended nicely into the toning. Struck a bit off center to K-11 leaving part of some letters off the planchet but everything else is clear. Later die state with obvious swelling across the obverse from UC to NN. Weight 136.6 grains.
