Frosty medium brown with subtle overtones of sea green in protected areas. The surfaces are lustrous and this cent has excellent eye appeal. Looks choice mint state but there is a hint of rub on the highest points of the devices. The only marks are a tiny tick on the rim right of star 8 and a subtle spot of slightly darker toning under the right side of the first 5. Neither mark is at all significant but they may help identify this cent. LDS, die state c, with a clearly defined rim cud break over ES in STATES. Our grade is AU58+, very close to MS60. Not in the overall condition census for the variety but CC#7 of those known with the single cud break on the reverse.
