Ten points sharper but the reverse is covered with extremely fine porosity while the obverse is smooth and choice. Attractive mostly glossy medium brown and light chocolate. There are traces of very shallow verdigris scale in protected areas at the top of the reverse and a small bevel on the rim at the C in AUCTORI. This piece has excellent eye appeal in spite of the minor defects. Nicely struck and nearly centered on the planchet. The bottom of the date is tight to the edge but the date and devices are all strong. Weight 163.5 grains.
